Snap Media’s Syndication Engine tunes viewers in to the web
TORONTO, ON, Dec. 6 /CNW/ - Snap Media's groundbreaking syndication engine, the technical platform behind the wildly popular web site, www.degrassi.tv, ensures users interact with automatically updated new content every time they log on and notifies wireless application protocol (WAP) enabled users that new features have been added to the website. The result is unprecedented site traffic as viewers tune in to the web to keep up with their favourite show. As Snap Media's technology is further developed, convergent, multicast stories will unfold in timed relation to the TV broadcast, even in syndication. The syndication engine also allows for mid-season schedule adjustments, so broadcasters can easily change the timed release of new content should an episode be pre-empted.
