The Degrassi cast won Best Ensemble in a TV Series at the 23rd Annual Young
Artist Awards held in California. The other nominees were “Malcolm in the
Middle”, “Lizzie McGuire”, and “The Brothers Garcia”. Ryan Cooley (JT) and Jake
Goldsbie (Toby) were nominated for Best Performance by a Leading Young Actor in
a TV Comedy Series.
