GEMINI NOMINATION

Music Works is thrilled to announce that Pat Mastroianni has received a
Gemini nomination as Best Host in a Practical Information, or Performing
Arts Program or Series for his work as host of CBC’s Music Works.
Congratulations Pat! The nomination was for the episode featuring the
popular group “Simple Plan”. Special thanks to Pat and everyone on the
technical and production crew.

Music Works is a 7 part national television series and premier showcase
for some of Canada’s best and hottest new bands on the music scene.

The Geminis celebrate excellence in Canadian English-language
television, acknowledging our country’s triumphs in 87 award categories,
in three gala presentations. Since its first broadcast in 1986, the
event has grown in prominence and stature to become one of the most
prestigious cultural events in Canada. This year marks the 18th
anniversary of the awards.

The Gemini awards take place Oct. 18 to 20th in Toronto.
