Degrassi Wins 4 Media Awards

The National Council on Family Relations has recognized Degrassi: The Next Generation with 4 Media Awards, which seeks to promote social awareness through the media. “When Doves Cry” was awarded First Place in the Family Violence/Abuse category while “Don’t Believe the Hype” was awarded First Place in the Diverse Family Systems category.

“Careless Whisper” was Runner Up in the Sexuality/Sex Roles/Teen Pregnancy category while “Shout” received an Honourable Mention in the Health/Stress/Crisis category.
