Greetings. My name is Mike Sheerin — a Toronto-based documentary director.
I’m currently making a documentary on the Degrassi series’ 25th anniversary
to be broadcast on CTV (Canada only, so far) this fall.

I’m emailing the Digest to request Degrassi stories from the fans.

One of the reasons why the shows (both D:TNG and D:Classic) were so popular
was their authenticity — they, for better or worse, held a mirror up to the
viewers so they could not only see the lives of others, but their own as
well.

What are your Degrassi memories? Why did the show affect you?

I’m looking for stories that somehow do justice to the huge loyalty fans
display for the show.
