The N Showcases Degrassi Online Content

NEW YORK, January 30: On February 3, nighttime teen network The N will launch Degrassi Minis, an original online series based on the hit teen drama Degrassi: The Next Generation.

Created exclusively for broadband, the series will be available on http://www.the-n.com, with a new episode premiering each week through March 17.

Produced by Stefan Brogren of Epitome Pictures, the producers of Degrassi, the 2- to 3-minute episodes show key characters in new scenes and scenarios. “For our teen audience, primetime is as much about the web as it is about television, so we are very excited to present The N’s first original narrative content made exclusively for The.N.com,” said Tom Ascheim, the executive VP and general manager of The N. “Diehard Degrassi fans can now get more of what they crave wherever and whenever they want it.”
