Canadian rapper Drake rocks on Lil Wayne’s new album

While Degrassi has found success in the US, so has actor/rapper Aubrey Graham (stage name Drake).

Muchmusic reports on Thursday that the actor turned rapper is scheduled to appear on Lil Wayne’s upcoming rock album. The album, which does not have a scheduled release date, is said to be a different sound than the Got Money rapper’s signature sound.

Continuing to follow in the rap veteran’s footsteps, Drake is scheduled to join Lil Wayne on his North American tour later this month.

Drake has recently signed to the same management team that handles Lil Wayne and Kanye West. His debut album, Thank Me Later, is scheduled for release later this year.
