At the 19th Gemini Awards Industry Gala on December 12, 2004 Degrassi: The Next Generationwon Best Children’s or Youth Fiction Program or Series for the second time and Phil Earnshaw received the award for Best Direction in a Children’s or Youth Program or Series for his work on ‘Pride’.
